Welcome back and happy Monday again. Hopefully everyone had a nice and relaxing weekend. If not, hopefully you got a ton of things accomplished. It seems to always be busy here, even if we have nothing going on.
I wanted to share a craft I did a few days ago on a whim that I am actually quite smitten with. I had a small scrap piece of wood sitting around that I thought could be used somewhere, so I sanded it down weeks ago. It has been sitting around waiting for a new purpose. While finishing my scrap wood ghosts inspiration hit and now I have this cute little sign ready and waiting for Halloween.

Scrap Wood Ghosts
Hi everyone, I have finally gotten back to some crafting, which I am loving! Sometimes you can get so sidetracked with life and other things that you forget when you enjoy something so simple. I am excited to get back to doing something that I love so much.
Now as much as everyone hates to admit it, the weather is a changing and certain colder weather holidays are coming up. I skipped ahead a bit and made a fun and easy Halloween craft that will add a fun and spooky element to your house this year. All you need is some scrap wood, sandpaper, white paint and black paint. That's it.

first pumpkins.....and a first fail!
Hey everyone, I thought I would share another Halloween related thing with you, because why not? Might as well keep with the whole "I'm late posting for the first holiday since I became a full-time blogger" thing.
I know you'll forgive me.
Since Braxton is too young to understand what pumpkins are, let alone carve them, I thought it would be cute to let him paint them. So off to the local Micheals I go to find some non-toxic washable paint to use in this project. The selection was pretty bare, but I managed to find white and red.
So right before bath time I laid out some newspaper, got the paint onto paper plates and put the pumpkins on the ground. One almost naked baby later and I thought the cute would just happen.
Yeah, no.

first halloween
Hey everyone, I know it's a little late but I'm new to this blog game (so to speak). I wanted to share Braxton's Halloween costume with you guys, and if you follow me on Instagram you will have already gotten to see my cutie. We got this costume from a Carter's store near our house, and it's pretty cute.
Meet, Braxton the dragon!
Pretty adorable right? I know, you can make googly eyes all you want at him. He's taken ladies. Hopefully the horrible pictures don't scare you guys off!
Here are a few more, including his cute little bum tail!
Next year I want to make him a costume, so to Pinterest I go! And hopefully my picture taking skills get better by next Halloween!
I hope everyone had a safe Halloween! And feel free to share your little ghouls and goblins, I'm a sucker for kids in costumes.
